The Sheriff’s Mobile Field Force team is comprised of the patrol division and other members from within the Sheriff’s Office with 2 team commanders that are equipped to handle civil disturbances inside Cleveland County. The Sheriff’s team can also be deployed alongside neighboring agencies to serve in a regional team capacity for large events inside or outside of the county at the discretion of the Sheriff.
The purpose of the Mobile Field Force Team is to provide a law enforcement presence at public gatherings where disorderly or otherwise unlawful conduct is believed to be probable. The team can be present in order to prevent loss of life, injury, or property damage and may help minimize disruption to persons who are not involved with the disorderly or otherwise unlawful conduct.
