Policing is a difficult and complex job in today’s society. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Professional Standards Division is tasked with making sure our agency has the resources and professionalism to meet the challenges of today. The Professional Standards Division achieves this through:
- Assisting with policy and procedure development
- Issuing and maintaining equipment
- Issuing and maintaining vehicles
- Writing and managing grants
- Conducting internal affairs investigations
Although our goal is to have personnel who exceed your expectations, sometimes, we fall short. If you would like to tell us about your experience with a Sheriff’s Office employee, you may file a compliment or complaint in the following ways:
- Come to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Control Room, located on the second floor of the Cleveland County Courthouse and fill out a compliment or complaint form. The Control Room is open Monday through Friday 8am until 5pm.
