Fingerprints are completed by appointment only and are done at the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office on the second floor.
- Applicant fingerprints are done for Cleveland County residents ONLY.
- Appointments are REQUIRED and can be made by calling the Civil Division of the Sheriff's Office at 704-484-4763.
- Appointments can be made Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:45 PM.
- There is a fingerprinting fee of $15.00.
- We accept cash or card (if you bring cash, please have correct change as we often do not have change).
Applicants must provide:
- Valid government issued photo ID with Cleveland County address (must be a Cleveland County resident)
- Electronic Submission Form (should be provided by Requesting Agency if being submitted electronically)
- While booking your appointment you will be asked the reason of your fingerprinting needs to ensure that the proper paperwork is present at your appointment. If you do not have the proper paperwork, you will be asked to reschedule.
- If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled for a later date.
